Role

As CTO at O|tech, I'm responsible for our technology strategy, infrastructure, and product development. I lead the technical direction across all areas, from database architecture and data quality systems to AI integration and the platforms we build for clients. 

Experience

 I've been working for 13 years across the full stack; database engineering, systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, software development. Whether it's designing data pipelines, building CRM integrations, deploying AI-powered tools, or managing production environments. Today, I bridge the gap between what the business needs and how we make it happen. At O|tech, no two days look the same, and that's how I like it. 

Vision & Approach

I believe the best technology should be invisible, it should just work. My approach is practical first, but always with an eye on what's next. I'm constantly looking for ways to use AI and automation to deliver real value, not just follow trends. Clean data and smart systems are the foundation of every good business decision. That's what drives everything I do. 

Role

I’m Ronald, CIO at Otech, part-time chaos whisperer, full-time problem solver. Blessed to lead a team whose skill, dedication and sharp thinking make the toughest challenges feel manageable, and co-ordinate with a superb dev and qc team setup. I also occasionally support Olivia and Johann, helping strategy, tech and execution run in sync behind the scenes. And I help manage a 40+ strong office 3000miles away in my spare time but that's material for another description. 

Experience

30 years in tech, my first website was uploaded through dial-up. I specialize in attention to detail, pattern-solving, legal system architecture, analytics and SEO/GEO. AI optimization, Core Web Vitals and performance optimization are my wheelhouse. 

Motivation

I love delivering solutions that work, building systems and teams and turning impossible problems into seamless results. 

Role

My main role at Otech is leading the support function, where I work closely with both internal teams and clients to help resolve any challenges they encounter. This involves identifying issues, coordinating solutions, and ensuring that problems are addressed efficiently and effectively. In addition to this, I also lead the Front-end and CRM teams. My responsibilities include overseeing team performance, guiding development priorities, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business needs. I focus on maintaining clear communication, supporting team members in their day-to-day work, and driving continuous improvement across all areas I manage.

Experience

I have a background in Interactive Media and Graphic Design, which gives me a strong eye for detail when reviewing and improving front-end work, particularly in terms of usability and user experience.

In addition, I bring around 7 years of experience in support. Over time, I’ve developed strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and resolve issues efficiently for both internal teams and clients. Support is an area I continue to grow in, and one that I’ve become increasingly passionate about as I gain more experience.

Motivation

What motivates me most at Otech is the people I work with. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some amazing colleagues, which has always created a great and positive atmosphere in the office. What I enjoy most about my role is the variety it offers. Every day brings something new—whether it’s working on a new dashboard, tackling different challenges, or solving issues as they arise. I also value the opportunity to meet and collaborate with new people, as it allows me to continuously learn, grow, and further develop my skills.

Role

As a Technical Data Specialist at Otech, I oversee two teams, a Back-End Team responsible for maintaining and enhancing our admin platforms, and a Data Team focused on dashboard accuracy, new data discovery, and reporting. My core focus is providing technical and data support across the business, ensuring systems and insights are always reliable. I also handle network management and device support as part of my wider responsibilities.

Experience

With close to six years in tech, I specialise in Databricks, PySpark, and SQL/Spark SQL, using them to extract, transform, and build dashboards that surface meaningful insights across the Food & Beverage and Beauty, Personal Care & Household industries.

Motivation

What motivates me most is solving complex problems, whether that's untangling a tricky dataset, improving a system, or finding a smarter way to present data. At Otech, every project brings a new puzzle, and that keeps the work genuinely exciting. The team also keeps morale high with a generous supply of doughnuts which, frankly, solves at least half of our problems.

Role

As a Team Leader, I ensure that all tasks assigned to my team are closely monitored, reviewed, and completed within agreed timelines. I take a proactive approach in following up on any pending work to maintain efficiency and accountability. As a primary point of contact for key clients, I prioritize responsiveness and reliability, ensuring that either I or a member of my team is always available to address and resolve any issues swiftly.

Experience

Throughout my time 10+ years here at O Tech, I have developed extensive expertise working with advanced backend systems and modern CMS platforms, which enable me to manage day-to-day operations effectively. My experience has allowed me to collaborate with diverse clients helping me to understand varying business needs and translate them into practical, results-driven solutions. This has equipped me with the skills to streamline processes, improve system performance, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.

Motivation

What motivates me most in my work at Otech is the opportunity to build strong, personal connections with our clients, especially when meeting them in person. I enjoy being part of a dynamic and supportive team where collaboration and a positive atmosphere make a real difference.

Having a great mentor has also played an important role in my growth, continuously pushing me to improve and think differently. Combined with a modern and engaging work environment, these factors keep me motivated to deliver reliable, client-focused technology solutions while leading with a hands-on and approachable mindset.
